COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL
SAFETY TESTING

NICEIC APPROVED
ELECTRICAL INSPECTION &
TESTING SPECIALISTS

There are various factors that can lead to an electrical installation to degrade over time. Electrical accessories such as light switches and socket outlets can sustain damage through use or even misuse, cables may deteriorate and if not installed correctly may sustain damage too also with connections possibly becoming loose.

The type of site, electrical installation and use of the premises all play a part in the deterioration of the electrical system. Along with issues like external influences (rain/snow/ice), extreme heat and possibly exposure to chemicals, one area that often effects the safety of electrical installations is the maintenance, or in many cases, the lack of maintenance.

WHAT SETS US APART?

Our engineers are all experienced and qualified to carry out a comprehensive and thorough inspection and test of your site and provide a detailed NICEIC report, which will enable us to recommend any remedial action that may be required.

It is important as either a landlord, leaseholder or owner to know how often your premises should undertake an inspection and there are a few options;

The recommended frequency for commercial premises is every 5 years, but for larger sites this is often broken down into smaller more managerable jobs. As long as 100% of the site is tested over the course of the 5 years, there is no reason that 20% cannot be completed each year. This not only reduces the impact on the business, it also spreads the costs across 5 years.
