Any appliance that fails is labelled as failed and taken out of use straight away to protect your staff. The failure is recorded in your asset register with the specific reason noted. Where the issue is straightforward, such as a damaged cable or faulty plug, our engineer may be able to carry out a basic repair and retest during the same visit. Where that is not possible, we will advise clearly on whether the item should be repaired, replaced or disposed of safely. All testing is carried out in line with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
