James Crabtree
Excellent company who helped us out in an emergency. Very accommodating on dates, professional engineers. Great communication throughout and reports compiled in a professional manner.
Luke

They carried out a massive testing job for us on a very active, complex building. It’s hard to find people who are willing to tackle the big technical stuff but still happy to help out with the smaller bits too. The engineers are great and continue to support us with our compliance and installations. 10/10.

Salvatore D'Angelo

Frequently Asked Questions About Our EICR Service

Everything you need to know about Electrical Installation Condition Reports

How often does an EICR need to be renewed?

For rental properties, a new Electrical Installation Condition Report is required every 5 years or at every change of tenancy. For commercial premises it is generally every 5 years, though some environments with higher electrical demand may require more frequent inspections. We can advise on the right schedule for your property.

The duration of a fixed wire test depends entirely on the size and complexity of the premises. A small property may be completed in a single day, while larger commercial premises can take several days, weeks or even months to complete. We can allocate additional labour to ensure the work is finished within any specific timescale or deadline you may have. Just let us know your requirements, and we’ll plan accordingly.

If your inspection identifies any C1, C2 or FI observations it will be deemed unsatisfactory and will require remedial work to meet the minimum requirements as set by BS7671. Our engineers can carry out that remedial work for you, so you do not need to find a separate contractor. We will talk you through everything clearly before any additional work begins.
