TES Compliance was commissioned to carry out fixed wire testing across part of the BMW production facilities in both Oxford and Swindon — two of the most significant manufacturing sites in the UK and home to the iconic new Mini. The scope of works covered key areas of both production plants, requiring our team to work within a live and highly active industrial environment where precision, planning, and minimal disruption to ongoing operations were essential. Fixed wire testing across large-scale manufacturing facilities of this nature demands a structured and methodical approach, and our engineers ensured all circuits and installations were thoroughly tested and assessed against current regulatory standards.
A particularly notable element of this project was the inclusion of the main UK BMW data centre within the scope of works. Data centres present their own unique compliance challenges, given the critical nature of the infrastructure they house and the stringent uptime requirements that must be maintained throughout any testing programme. Our team managed this aspect of the project with the utmost care, delivering a full and accurate record of the installation’s condition across all tested areas. This project demonstrates TES Compliance’s capability to deliver fixed wire testing at scale, across complex, multi-site environments handling some of the most operationally critical infrastructure in the country.
